The Basics

Your paperwork has to keep up with your schedule.

Contractors lose more money to administrative friction than to claims. A certificate that takes three days, a missing additional insured endorsement, an expired bond, and suddenly you are off the job site.

We handle liability, equipment, auto and bonding under one roof, so the certificate, the endorsement and the bond all come from the same place.

  • Same-day certificates with additional insured wording
  • Oregon CCB bonds written alongside your liability
  • Tools and equipment coverage that travels to the job
  • Subcontractor certificate tracking before audit

Trades We Write

  • • General contractors and remodelers
  • • Electrical, plumbing and HVAC
  • • Roofing, siding and framing
  • • Excavation and site work
  • • Landscaping and concrete

Common Questions

Contractors Insurance FAQs

What does the Oregon CCB require?
Licensed contractors must carry a surety bond and liability insurance, with amounts that vary by license endorsement and business size. Requirements change, so confirm current figures with the CCB and we will write to match.
How fast can I get a certificate?
Usually same day. Send the requesting party’s exact wording, since additional insured and waiver of subrogation language has to match what the contract asks for.
Are my tools covered if they’re stolen from the truck?
Only with tools and equipment coverage. A general liability policy covers damage you cause to others, not loss of your own property. Overnight theft from a vehicle is one of the most common contractor claims.
Do I need coverage if I only use subs?
Yes. You carry liability for the work performed under your license, and uninsured subcontractors get charged to your policy at audit. Collect their certificates before the job, not after.
