Need to file a claim?

Report it to your carrier first, then call us. Most carriers run a 24-hour claims line, and reporting promptly protects your coverage. Once it is open, we follow it on your behalf.

First Steps

Before you call anyone.

Make sure everyone is safe and get medical attention if anyone is hurt. Call the police if there is an accident, theft, or vandalism, and get the report number. Then protect the property from further damage if you can do so safely, because most policies require it.

After that, report the claim to your carrier using the number below. Then call our office and we will track it with you.

  • Photograph the damage before anything is moved or repaired
  • Keep receipts for temporary repairs, lodging and meals
  • Do not dispose of damaged property until the adjuster has seen it
  • Write down the claim number the carrier gives you

Have Ready

  • • Your policy number
  • • Date, time and location
  • • What happened, briefly
  • • Police or fire report number
  • • Other parties and their insurers
  • • Photos, if you have them

Not Listed?

Do not know your carrier, or they are not above?

Call our office. We will look up your policy, give you the right claims number, and stay with it from there. You do not need to know your carrier or your policy number to call us.

We also follow every claim we report. If an adjuster goes quiet, if the settlement does not look right, or if you simply cannot get a straight answer, that is what we are here for.

  • We look up your carrier and policy number
  • We follow the claim and chase the adjuster
  • We explain the settlement before you accept it
